SO I’VE FINALLY DECIDED TO UPDATE MY “ARTSY” PHOTOGRAPHER PICTURE OR WHATEVER YOU CALL THAT. IT SEEMED WELL-TIMED WITH THE FACE LIFT THE REST OF MY PORTFOLIO WAS GETTING, SO I DECIDED TO USHER OUT THE OLD GIANTS/LEDGER COMBO AND THINK UP SOMETHING NEW.
OBVIOUSLY IT’S A LITTLE BIT LESS GOTHAM-CITY, DONNING HUDSON’S WHITE BLAZER (NEVER THOUGHT I’D SEE THE DAY) AND A BOTTLE OF HEINZ’ FINEST FROM THE FRIDGE. ALSO OF INTEREST, I DID ACTUALLY END UP DRINKING KETCHUP. THE STRAW IS ACTUALLY CLEAR (IT WAS DISGUSTING).
Today was a big day. Putting out a new book and web site to go with it means I’m essentially redefining how I present myself from the bottom up.
The names of my original two books are born from the Greek myths. Selene, the Titan goddess of the moon, is represented as darkness through the black and whites of Book I, while Eos, the Titan goddess of the dawn, showcases color.
Hopefully the new book will bring about a dawn in my work in photography, but we’ll have to see. I’ve never been big on blogging, but we’ll see if I can keep it updated at least every now and then.
